What you’ll do
Meet at the station
Start at Mt. Fuji station, under the red torii gate.
Visit Oshi Street
Walk down Oshi Street, an important historical street in the area and learn about the history.
Visit a wagashi sweet shop
Visit a local sweet shop run by a lovely elderly couple.
Enter into a sacred shrine.
Walk through ancient cedar trees to visit the most important shrine for Mt. Fuji. Learn about Mt Fuji's god.
Taste Houtou noodle or local Udon
Enjoy the area's famous vegetable and udon dish for lunch.
Explore Aokigahra Forest and Caves
Walk through Aokigahara Forest, a unique lava forest created by Mt. Fuji, and visit a power spot.
Visit Lake Saiko
Visit Lake Saiko, on the edge of the forest, to see a view of Mt Fuji and take pictures.
